Wooden wick candles are very special - certainly not your everyday type of cotton wick candle. Wood wicks burn cleaner than cotton wicks, they burn longer and have a beautiful crackling sound when burning. Keep in mind, wooden wicks need a bit more TLC than your average cotton wick.

Following these simple tips will help keep your wooden wick burning consistently throughout the entire life of your candle:

- Keep your wood wicks trimmed, before each use if needed.

- Make sure that your wick is free from excessive charred wood. (Using a wick trimmer is the most uniform way to care for your wick. Doing this will ensure the quality and longevity of the flame)

- Make sure to burn your candle out to a full melt pool on your candle's FIRST burn. This will prevent tunneling which will shorten the life and quality of your candle.

MAKEDA wood wick candles have a burn time of 30-40 hours. Just make sure to care for your candle using our wick trimmer before every burn (as needed).

Yes! All products must remain unused and in resellable condition. All returns and exchanges should be initiated within 14 days from the date that you receive your order.
