Wood wicks burn cleaner than cotton wicks, they burn longer and have a beautiful crackling sound when burning. But!!!..wooden wicks need a bit more TLC than your average cotton wick. Folllowing these simple tips will keep your wooden wick burning consistently and beautifully: - Keep your wood wicks trimmed, before each use if needed. Make sure that your wick is free from excessive charred wood. Using a wick trimmer is the most uniform way to care for your wick. If you do not have one, you can always carefully break away the charred wood. If you do not do this, your wick may not stay lit long enough to fuel your flame. This will cause your candle to extinguish itself. - Make sure to burn your candle out to a full melt pool on your candle's FIRST burn. This will prevent tunneling which will shorten the life and quality of your candle. Following these simple steps will help keep your candle burning clean throughout the entire life of your candle.

MAKEDA Wood Wick Candles have a Burn Time of 30-40 hours. Just make sure to care for your candle by trimming properly before every burn (as needed).

Yes, we do, however, all products must remain unused and in resellable condition. All returns and exchanges should be initiated within 14 days from the date that you receive your order. Drop us an email at sales@makedacandle.com to start your return/exchange process. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. Customers will be responsible for return shipping costs. Your unused product will be refunded back to the original form of payment within seven (7) business days. MAKEDA reserves the right to reject any return and/or exchange that does not meet conditions outlined above. Any order that returns to MAKEDA as undeliverable will be automatically refunded (minus shipping). Refunds will be issued back to the original form of payment within 7 days of refurn.
